Dare to Dance Dressage Academy. Spotlight on Coach Georgia Davis.

Pegasus are proud to introduce Georgia Davis as the first coach on the Dare to Dance Dressage Academy programme!

Georgia is a professional dressage rider and trainer who is based in the UK. She spends her day producing horses on behalf of owners as well her own. She also has a large number of clients who she teaches on a regular basis. Georgia started her full time career with horses aged 16 when she was offered a working pupil position with renowned international dressage riders, Gareth & Rebecca Hughes. Under the watchful eye of Gareth and Rebecca, Georgia learnt to become the effective and sympathetic rider that she is today. During her three years working at Hughes Dressage, she was a member of the team GB Junior and YR squads which allowed her the opportunity to compete all over Europe and this included riding at the Junior European Championships in 2013 on a horse which she has produced herself from Prelim - Prix St George. Since Georgia left Hughes Dressage in 2015 she has been building her name as a successful professional dressage rider and trainer with numerous successes at local, regional and national levels shows - which most recently includes two regional title wins at Advanced Medium and Advanced Medium Freestyle level at the beginning of 2020, to later in 2020 becoming the British Dressage Advanced Medium national champion on board her own Keystone Diego who she has owned since a foal. Her next aim is to step up into senior level and compete at a CDI international at Small Tour level. During 2020, Georgia also launched the online training platform, Dressage With Georgia. Dressage With Georgia is a virtual way to learn and seek guidance from a professional dressage rider without the need to travel. The platform includes: -60+ diagrammed exercises which you can use in your schooling sessions and each diagram includes all of Georgia’s hints and tips to ensure you can make the most out of each exercise. -The DWG blog which includes training videos which show you how to fix common problems. -The A-Z Dressage feature, which is essentially your Dressage Encyclopaedia, introduces you to the DWG “Circle to Success” which is a fool proof guide to successfully train your horse or pony up through the levels.
